Digital Taxation - Webcast

TLS-mixed ‹ Back to the articles

We are pleased to invite you to our next webcast focusing on recent developments in international taxation arising as a response to the digitalization of the economy.

Wednesday, 19 June 2019, 15:00 – 16:00 CEST

This webcast will be relevant for all international businesses, and especially for those providing a platform for online sales of goods and services or more “traditional” businesses with significant value in intangible property.

The OECD is currently developing a framework, which could grant new taxing rights to market and “user” jurisdictions, and standardize minimum tax rules globally. In the meantime, various jurisdictions have been discussing and introducing unilateral digital tax measures.

Our experts will give an overview of the international digital tax landscape, and will explain the implications of the Digital Services Taxes being introduced in the UK and France, including practical examples of how the new rules may impact businesses.

Speakers for this webcast will include:

Monica Cohen-Dumani – Partner, International Tax Services, EMEA ITS
Leader – PwC Switzerland

David Murray – Director, International Tax Policy – PwC UK

Emmanuel Picq – Partner, International Tax – PwC France

Please follow the link to register for the session and we look forward to discussing this important topic with you.

I am head of PwC Norway’s international taxation services, and I have more than 20 years of experience assisting Norwegian and foreign businesses with tax planning, cross border restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), transfer pricing and other issues related to corporate taxation

Tax world is becoming more international and complex. Norwegian companies must increasingly handle tax rules abroad. PwC has offices almost all over the world and we have a unique network of tax advisors who can assist with expertise in most areas.
